This section explores family life at La Galloise, Vallauris, between 1948 and 1953 when Picasso lived with the young French artist Francise Gilot, with whom he had two children, Claude and Paloma. A selection of work including drawings by Francise illustrates these family relationships and their impact on his work. Picasso's interests are also considered, and his passion for bullfighting shown in striking tiles and bold posters.
